The Power of Persistency

EVERYONE knows the importance of being persistent in many areas of life. Business is no exception. However, not everyone can actually apply what they know. This is because of reasons such as lack of discipline and the absence of a definite plan to achieve success. The more powerful your REASONS for doing business, the more energy your body WILL CREATE for you to reach your goals. Yes your body has the ability to create and allocate evergy for accomplishing different tasks.
I'll sidetrack a bit to illustrate...Most people are really tired of their everyday J.O.Bs and their reasons for going every day are rather dismal. Some just go in order to "survive" and others go to take care of their children and the list goes on. Only a very small fraction of people ever go to their jobs BECAUSE THEY LOVE AND ENJOY WHAT THEY DO. These are usually the most productive people on the J.O.B. The others have to literally drag themselves out of bed every morning to go to work. They think,"My gosh the night was so short it's already time to get up again to prepare to go into that place again". This is a major energy drain...when you're not very motivated to go to work. On the other hand, the worker who's intrigued about what he's doing, can hardly wait for sunrise each day so that he can indulge in whatever he's doing. His enthusiasm is there and his energy level is very high almost consistently.
An intrigued businessman (or woman) has more energy and sets goals for himself (or herself) and is driven by targets. Persistency is easier accomplished with this type of individual as compared to the businessman who is not very pleased with what he's doing, or rather what "he has to do for a living".
In order for persistency to prevail, we must keep certain things in mind. Every successful person from history has had to jump over obstacles and opposition BEFORE arriving at that desired place...their goals. A common mistake made is where people mistake TEMPORARY DEFEAT for failure. Think about Thomas Edison. He believed strongly that he could make a lamp that works without oil and carried out over 2000 experiments BEFORE he invented the light bulb. When asked the question,"How come you kept trying again and again after you had failed so many times?" His humble and wise response to that question was,"I have never failed, I have only figured out over 2000 ways it won't work." That is very powerful.....let it sink in for a few moments....

Most people would quit before getting to the 100th experiment. That's the reason why successful people are the minority. There are two types of people on earth....the masses and the Masters. The Masters are those who push through every barrier to achieve their goals and well, the masses consist of everyone else.
What is very important in business is to have STRONG FAITH and BELIEF in one's self that he can achieve whatever goals have been set. The elimination of negative influences helps a great deal. When you hang around people who keep telling you the glass is half empty and this can't work and that can't work, that negative energy is very contagious and you'll be doomed to failure. Surround yourself with powerful positive influential thinkers and watch your success fall right into your lap. If you want your business to earn 2 million dollars, you don't hang around people who either have no business in the first place or people who's businesses are on financial life support.
Persistency ALWAYS helps people succeed. The more you focus on your goals, the more attainable they will become. Write down whatever your business goals/targets are and create definite planse to get there. DECIDE in your mind that you will let NOTHING hinder your progress to get there and remind yourself of this EACH AND EVERY DAY UNTIL IT BECOMES EMBEDDED IN YOUR SUBCONSCIOUS MIND.
That's all I'll leave you with for now.
Think about itt.
